STANNARD ARTISTS AT SALMON OF SEVENOAKS

There are two notable groups of Stannard artists, the first being part of the Norwich School of painters with seven artists, most notable being Eloise Harriet Stannard whose artwork was used by at least eight greeting card manufacturers.

The second group with ten artists is detailed in the book "Stannards of Bedfordshire" by Anthony J. Lester, published by Eastbourne Fine Arts, ISBN 0902010 11 5, which contains biographical information for most of the painters.   Salmon are using two from this latter group and produce postcards, books, notelets, calendars and place mats.
